Ferrari Testarossa

This casting replicates the Ferrari Testarossa, Pininfarina's mid-engined flat-12 supercar styled largely by Emanuele Nicosa under Leonardo Fioravanti and produced from 1984 to 1991. It came to Hot Wheels through Mattel's 1989 acquisition of Corgi, entering the lineup in 1996 as one of several ex-Corgi tools briefly folded into the mainline. Compared with Larry Wood's earlier Ferrari Testarossa casting, this Corgi-sourced version is noticeably larger and rides on a plastic base rather than metal.
